Object Name Piano
Description Chickering Piano, Made by Chickering & Sons Division piano Makers, East Rochester N. Y. This piano received 150 First prize medals over all competitions in United States Gold metal. In Paris Exposition Universelle & Gold Metals a London Prize Meta Established in 1823.

Piano No. 67328 Was shipped from factory in 1884 from N.Y. to San Franscico by boat going around Cape Horn. It was then shipped to Kansas by rail. The original owner was Rabban. & Sabayon. G. V. Walk of 22117 Sierra Hwy. San Fernando Calif. Last named owner was Ruth Beckerdite. It was original on loan to Clark Co. Historical Society on Oct. 11, 1969 loan no. L-69-16 and was moved to accessions in 1979. It was recorded in the accessions inventory log on 02-10-2004 and given accessions no. 2004.001.0001 at that time.

This entry also includes a piano bench that is located in the Parlor.
